Perhaps the locals call South Beach “SoBe” because they felt it needed something a little more informal to capture the spirit here. After all, this is not just America; this is the South where folk have time for folk and a warm welcome for all visitors. When they wish you a nice day here, they mean it.

Use Jerry’s Diner as your local landmark – the Art Deco building you cannot miss in the Art Deco district you must not miss. Take your time and work your way round the fashion stores for some retail therapy or visit some of the most incredible restaurants anywhere in the States. With Cuban, Russian, Japanese, French, Italian, Argentinean and Thai restaurants lined up next to each other, you'll be spoiled for choice.

This is a city where you can swim with dolphins within sight of the beach and spot manatee just offshore.  Or you can take a trip to the Everglades and hitch a ride on an air boat to see wild ‘gators. This is also the place where they sunk a Boeing 727 just to create a wreck to dive down and see the ‘in-flight entertainment’ of shoals of barracuda and armies of arrow crabs.

If you want to add a few thrills to the trip stop off at Epcot Center, Disney World, where NASA scientists have helped develop Mission Space, the first full simulation of what it is like to blast off in a rocket headed for outer space. Then there is Disney World itself, Sea World, Cirque du Soleil – all the road signs point to attractions.
